Champ Advisory (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Champ Advisory”) is an independent professional advisory and consultancy company providing services in business and contract advisory, estate planning, will writing, family trust consultation, estate administration coordination, and related advisory services.
Champ Advisory is not a law firm and does not hold itself out as a firm of advocates and solicitors. Its directors, employees, consultants and representatives shall not be presumed to be practising advocates and solicitors unless individually qualified and authorised under applicable Malaysian law.
2. Legal Consultation and Professional Referrals
Champ Advisory provides general advisory, consultation, administrative coordination and professional referral services within the scope permitted by applicable law.
Where a matter requires legal representation, legal opinions, litigation services or other services reserved for practising advocates and solicitors, such matters shall be referred to independent, duly qualified legal practitioners or law firms.
Any legal services provided by such practitioners shall be governed by their respective professional obligations and engagement arrangements.
Any engagement of independent legal practitioners shall be made directly between the client and the relevant practitioner or law firm, subject to applicable professional rules.
3. Consultancy Fees and Engagement
Champ Advisory may charge consultancy, advisory, coordination and administrative fees for services it is lawfully permitted to provide.
All fees and services shall be subject to the agreed scope of engagement, quotation, invoice or other applicable written terms.
Fees charged by Champ Advisory shall not be construed as fees for legal services reserved for practising advocates and solicitors.
Where independent legal practitioners or other regulated professionals are required, their services and fees shall be subject to separate arrangements compliant with applicable laws and professional rules.
4. No Solicitor-Client Relationship
Accessing this website, making an enquiry, attending a consultation or communicating with Champ Advisory does not, by itself, establish a solicitor-client relationship.
Any professional engagement shall be subject to the applicable written agreement and the nature of services provided.
5. No Guarantee of Results
Champ Advisory does not guarantee any particular legal, financial, commercial, estate administration or trust-related outcome.
All matters are subject to individual circumstances, applicable laws, regulatory requirements and the decisions of relevant authorities or independent professionals.
6. Independent Third-Party Professionals
Champ Advisory may introduce or coordinate services involving independent legal practitioners, trustees, accountants, tax advisers, financial institutions and other professional service providers.
Such professionals remain independently responsible for the services they undertake.
Champ Advisory shall not be liable solely by reason of introducing or coordinating independent third-party services. This provision does not exclude liability arising from Champ Advisory’s own negligence, misrepresentation, breach of duty or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
